ICR Identification System
The tracking system ICR (Image-Based Code Reader) is the ideal identification solution for the classification process at high conveyor speeds. Quickly and reliably identify cubes and irregular objects to be sorted, taking into account all common 1D/2D codes and zip codes. In addition, the integrated cameras offer excellent image quality and can be used in optical symbol recognition, video encoding, and industrial image processing applications. The system can be applied to narrow belt widths as well as belt widths up to 1,600 mm, and can also be extended for products such as dimensioning systems.

The ICR Identification System is equipped with the first dynamic focus line-scan camera that produces high-resolution images of objects in black and white and color. Based on these images, 1D and 2D codes can be reliably read, and other object information can also be obtained. This enables automated sorting processes and increased throughput based on the information or color characteristics stored in the code.
