Two-way pull-rope switch, types Si1 and Si2
BERNSTEIN’s two‑way pull‑cord switches (Si1 and Si2) can also be used for emergency‑stop applications. When the pull cord is actuated, the switch lever immediately pivots to shut down the system.
We offer Si1 and Si2 models with metal housings.

Operating Mode
- Two cables are installed in opposite directions and connected to the switch. A balance spring is located at the end of the cable and secured to the wall. Assuming that the temperature at any point along the cable remains constant, the balance spring can effectively compensate for changes in the cable’s length.

- Maximum span length: 2 × 75 m
- Protection rating IP65, compliant with IEC/EN 60529.
- Ambient temperature: -30°C to +80°C
