Dosing Delivery Systems Valves and Accessories
Mittonroe offers a complete line of accessories for all types of demanding dosing and delivery systems, such as pressure relief valves, backpressure valves, buffers, etc., which can be used to fulfill your entire process accessory requirements.
Characteristic
Hoop break valves control the flow of fluids (liquids, gases, etc.) and provide a leak-free seal when closed. It is a cost-effective, simple to install and easy to maintain accessory.
The valve consists of a body and a cylindrical sleeve made of natural or reinforced rubber.Especially in some conditions, the valve body and sleeve are in close contact due to the presence of pressure. This pressure is generated by liquid or compressed air, which squeezes the sleeve in a specific direction and seals the valve completely.
Valves are available in carbon steel, cast aluminum, and PVC in a variety of orifice sizes to meet a wide range of application conditions:
- Acids: hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, etc.
- Alkalis: sodium hydroxide, ammonia, potassium, phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, etc.
- Highly viscous or particulate liquids: seawater, wastewater, paints, pulp, lacquers, cement, soot, clay, etc.
- Beverages: beer, wine, cocoa butter, edible oil, beet juice, milk, sugar water, syrup, etc.
- Dust: cement, flour, sand, talcum powder, etc.
- Other fluids: water treatment chemicals, organic solvents, fertilizers, etc.

The MRV series of backpressure and pressure relief valves are used to ensure set pressure in pumps and systems or to relieve overpressure.
The dual port design allows each valve to be used for both pressure relief and back pressure to ensure accurate metering and pump characterization.
Available in a variety of materials and pressures ranging from 0-150 psi, the different porting options allow these valves to be flexibly adapted or installed in different operating systems. An optional interface is available for field installation of a standard pressure gauge for pressure readings.

Calibration columns are a fast, simple and economical tool for calibrating the flow of Milton-Rowe metering pumps.
The device periodically monitors and calibrates the flow of the pump to ensure good operation and accurate filling. In addition, they can be used to calibrate the flow rate of the pump through routine maintenance.Available in six sizes, the devices are easy to install and additionally provide optimal operating conditions for pump start-up.

A snubber is a pressure vessel used to relieve pressure fluctuations in a liquid transportation line.
The snubber is equipped with a flexible gas bag inside and is pre-filled with an inert compressed gas (air or nitrogen) in the lower chamber.Available in a choice of materials resistant to different corrosive fluids, the snubber eliminates all water hammer, enhances the overall performance of the line, and increases the reliability of the fluid in industrial and chemical transportation applications.
