The groove sensor UFW from SICK enables contactless web edge guidance.Thanks to ultrasonic technology, the UFW recognizes large quantities of material with high precision and is particularly suitable for applications with transparent films or light-sensitive materials.The compact housing design (30 mm and 60 mm fork widths) allows easy installation and saves space.Easy calibration by means of a teach-in key.Three LEDs provide an overview of the position of the fabric material inside the fork.In addition, the IO-Link communication interface offers a wide range of possibilities, such as precise adjustment, analysis and monitoring.
