PBST offers a lot of features at a low cost. The sensor can be used both as a switch and as a measurement converter. The integrated display displays the measured values and two outputs at the same time. With IO-Link, the sensor can be used for control operations in Industry 4.0 systems. The compact housing is made of stainless steel and is equipped with a shatterproof touchscreen, making the sensor particularly robust. Fast integration and simple monitoring

PBST is quick and easy to install and parameterize, allowing for high system throughput. During operation, the pressure sensor is easy to operate and does not require teach-in. Thanks to the multi-color touchscreen, the key measured values are displayed at a glance. When a predefined threshold is exceeded, the display changes from green to red, making it easy to monitor directly on the device.

Reliable, accurate pressure monitoring

The ceramic thick film measuring unit in the PBST transmits the media pressure to the process connection. This value is converted into an electronic output signal. Whether viscous liquids or high-pressure gases, the sensor reliably measures gauge pressures from –1 to 600 bar. The PBST also accurately monitors and controls low-pressure processes, while the ceramic measuring unit is highly resistant to overloads.

Flexible signal transmission

Depending on the system and requirements, the PBST triggers the switch contacts and outputs either an analog signal or a digital IO-Link signal.

Insensitive sensor elements

The stable ceramic measuring cell can easily withstand pressure peaks, pressure abrupt changes and load changes over its entire service life. This maintains a consistent measurement accuracy.
