PBST
PBST is a compact pressure sensor used to accurately measure, monitor, and control pressure in machine circuits. The device is versatile and can be used as a sensor, measurement converter or IO-Link sensor with display. Whether it is a liquid or a gas, it can be used for reliable measurements. The robust ceramic measuring cell provides accurate data that can be used for flexible switching operation and device control via two individually configurable switching outputs. The touchscreen allows for quick and easy configuration on the sensor. Critical states can be easily identified via the green-red color variation of the optional settings on the display, which significantly simplifies on-site monitoring.

Reliable, accurate pressure monitoring
The ceramic thick film measuring unit in the PBST transmits the media pressure to the process connection. This value is converted into an electronic output signal. Whether viscous liquids or high-pressure gases, the sensor reliably measures gauge pressures from –1 to 600 bar. The PBST also accurately monitors and controls low-pressure processes, while the ceramic measuring unit is highly resistant to overloads.

Flexible signal transmission
Depending on the system and requirements, the PBST triggers the switch contacts and outputs either an analog signal or a digital IO-Link signal.
Insensitive sensor elements
The stable ceramic measuring cell can easily withstand pressure peaks, pressure abrupt changes and load changes over its entire service life. This maintains a consistent measurement accuracy.
