Sensor tester

This sensor tester is used to check 2-wire and 3-wire DC proximity switches. Color LEDs and an audible signal indicate the switch status. When not in use, the sensor tester automatically shuts off after approximately 30 seconds.

Magnet

Rectangular, circular, and cylindrical magnets are the most common shapes for permanent magnets produced by compression molding. In addition to these standard geometries, permanent magnets can be manufactured in many other forms. Bornstein offers magnets—both with and without housing enclosures—in a wide range of magnetic materials, tailored to numerous applications.

Miniature magnetic position sensor

The intelligent magnetic cylindrical sensor series is characterized by a single analog output and one or two freely programmable, independent switching points. Despite its high level of functionality, Bornstein has successfully integrated the entire electronic circuitry into a compact sensor housing while maintaining the smallest possible dimensions. This design feature eliminates the need for additional protective measures, such as cable enclosures or costly safeguards. The compact design is suitable for mounting in all standard T‑slots and C‑slots (e.g., FESTO and SMC). The 0–10 V analog output provides users with continuous position detection for their applications. When using versions HP1 and HP2, one or two switching points can be programmed. Sensors with only a single output are also suitable for applications that require only…

Electronic magnetic sensor

Due to their unique characteristics, Hall-effect sensors are ideally suited for a wide range of applications. They are used to detect position, angle, and/or speed, and they exhibit excellent resistance to shock, impact, vibration, and wear. Additional advantageous features of this technology include high switching frequencies, long sensing distances, broad temperature ranges, and repeatability—attributes that, in many cases, make them a technically superior alternative to electromechanical reed switches. Select the sensor and the most appropriate sensing principle from Bornstein’s comprehensive portfolio of magnetic sensors to best meet your requirements.

Reed Switch Rectangular Housing Sensor

Because they employ only a single “active” component—the reed contact—“conventional” electromechanical magnetic switches are exceptionally reliable in operation. Their broad current‑carrying capacity and low procurement cost make these switches suitable for a wide range of applications. You will find the following Bornstein reed‑contact sensors with rectangular housings.
