While the two smaller gear units (C00 and C01) achieve their full performance with just two stages, the larger sizes—from C03 to C08—can be configured with either two or three stages, making them suitable for applications requiring higher torque ranges. Starting at C09, a fourth stage is added, and the C16 even features five gear stages.

Due to their structural design, parallel‑shaft geared motors are particularly well suited for belt conveyor applications. All 11 frame sizes can be equipped with hollow shafts, solid shafts, flanges, or locking plates.
